I always assumed she was probably dead... Wasn't her scent traced to a Car? Where a spare Tire is kept. It's been a long time since I read about it.

Won't be the first time or last time someone claims to be a missing person... A man claimed to be Johnny Gosch and refused a DNA test. Or the French man who claimed to be a missing boy.
I'd like to be wrong here. But I guess we'll see.

Well now there is more interest on the original case. Maybe it will bring new leads. Maybe it's possible she was Kidnapped and doesn't remember who she is?
