There often seems to be controversy over who penned what and when.
Such as authors of...
The Serenity Prayer Prayer for peace (mostly attributed to St. Francis of Assisi) Anyway (mainly attributed to St Mother Teresa) "Deepest Fear" (I think the Nelson Mandela authorship has finally been debunked, this is a passage from Marianne Williamson book "Return to Love") Where the light gets in (famous quote often attributed to Leonard Cohen)
The last quote is in one of Leonard Cohen's songs, but Rumi's quote "The wound is the place where the light enters you" is the same meaning
I guess these quotes and poems contain Truths (capital intentional) that have been floating from brain to brain for millennia hence the problem of who to give credit?
Others?
