Not a movie I liked but to my surprise my parents for some reason thought it was funny, Weekend at Bernie's 1989.  OOps... Missed you post... But well worth a second mention... Great Films. |

The Thirteenth Guest (1932)... Ginger Rogers also plays " Lela? Morgan" in the Murder Mystery film as well. Is your notation of the name Lela an oblique reference to Ginger's real-life mother? No. I read a couple different plots for the film, and the names were swapped in the descriptions. Can't remember which one was actually electrocuted... However. Yes. Ginger's mother's name was Lela. It wouldn't surprise me if the character's name was suggested by Ginger. |
