Scream 2 - Never liked it as much as most horror fans, but I don’t really have anything against it either. Not bad by any means just not one I tend to revisit often. 3/5 Scream 3 - So goddamn stupid I think I might actually love it someday. 3/5 As goofy as Scream 3 is that scene is definitely well done and still creeps me out every time I watch it. I agree with you 100% about Scream 4

Poltergeist III (1988) by Gary Sherman
I think it was the first of the Poltergeist movies I ever saw, usually it was often sent during the middle of the night in summertime in the late 90s, so I used to catch it every now and then. Have not seen it since, well, very long now and I kind of liked the whole use of this new and futuristic skyscraper approach, but sadly the movie was not all that.
It had some potential, I guess, but far too many annoying characters and re-use of typical haunted house cliches being used, where the story seem a little too hasty put down, and when Tangina suddenly arrives, as cocky and arrogant as ever (never been a fan of her) but, yeah, the film did not sit down too well with me this time around, sadly. Still, it did pack some enjoyable and rather well done special effects and it was nice to see such a young Lara Flynn Boyle, but also Nancy Allen.
I never was too fond of the whole Poltergeist franchise, and often prefer my haunted house/supernatural horror movies a bit more "minimalistic" and by making more use of atmosphere and tone, rather than have them ending up as some kind of a overblown special effect "theme park", and compared to stuff like The Entity (1982) which I thought was really disturbing and creepy, Poltergeist III ends up almost played out like a parody at times.
Still, I can not be too hard on it, as I had some good times back in my teens when watching it late at night, all by myself, but then I had not seen too many horror movies, and had very little to compare it with.
5/10

SLEEPAWAY CAMP 1983 -- what a great surprise ending. I have to admit-I didn't think it would work for me but I was not expecting that! Ingeniously set up as well. The fact that the characters were mostly early-teen and there is hardly any sexual discussion among either the kids or the camp counselors adds to the shock effect. The use of anatomically accurate figures gives it just enough creepy artificial quality to punctuate the surprise. How fascinating too that this came out at the same time that an actual case of this was happening in Canada (that's all I can say without giving it away, but the individual appeared on talk shows).

Goke, Body Snatcher from Hell (1968) Not sure where I heard of this somewhat obscure movie, maybe on one of these boards, but I'm glad I did. Not that it's a great movie, but it certainly held my interest. A Japanese movie with English subs about plane crash survivors dealing with aliens who are turning humans into vampires. The effects are cheap but the story, as I said, is interesting and the acting is mostly believable. It has some references to the Vietnam War, which give it a moral message. And the ending was a bit of a surprise. It is on YT. 6.5/10

Horrors of Spider Island 1960 - I liked the idea and even the spider puppet, sure it was pretty bad but I guess it wasn't trying to be Bertholt Brecht.
Brides of Dracula 1960 - I don't know why this doesn't make my favorite Hammer list but it doesn't. I like the story and performances but for some reason it just doesn't click with me. I prefer Kiss of the Vampire.

DEVIL DOG--THE HOUND OF HELL 1978 One of the greatest of all tv-movies, I had occasionally thought of it but decided to finally check out again after decades. Everything about it screams 1970s--you have Richard Crenna pre-Rambo as well as Yvette Mimieux and the two kids from the Witch Mountain films. Then you also have Martine Beswick as the head of a devil cult who wants to buy a dog to breed demon puppies, which she then gives to R.G. Armstrong who was also in a demon cult in Race With the Devil. The early scenes of the demon puppy killing people is more funny than scary, but I really admire how a film like this treats total BS scenarios with complete seriousness. Crenna goes to a doctor to confess he feels alienated from his family thanks to their dog. The family worships a picture of a three eyed devil they painted in blood that is on their attic wall. Finally Crenna goes to Victor Jory for help in confronting the demon. For 1970s effects the look of the devil dog is pretty cool too-been decades but I still remembered it.
