Empire of the Ants (1977) The pluses: Giant ants, Joan Collins. The minuses: Absurd plot, poor acting(despite an experienced cast), shoddy effects. 4/10.

I've binged three "Essex Boys" movies. The first one is based on a true Case of 3 Gangsters from the UK. They ruled with an iron fist and were each shot to death in a Range Rover. The connection with the other movies and real Case are tenuous at best. These other movies were so over the top Campy, and generally awful. I couldn't stop watching... But I will say the true Case is interesting.

They are on Tubi.

2/10Wow. This was a major disappointment. I dont know much about the video game but it has to be better than this film. I thought this was going to be simple evil animatronics going around killing. But I guess thats what Willy's Wonderland is. I like that film far better. Much of the screen time of this film is dedicated to the drama of the main characters (played by Josh Hutcherson) family drama and how his younger brother went missing. The whole film is rather a bore. Theres not even much of Freddy or the other animatronic animals. I was expecting more from this film.

2/10And there is also the rip off version. I was kinda hoping it would be better than the real film but its not. Its just as lame.

After killing her boyfriend in self defense,Debbie moves to a new town and has a sleepover with her new friends. However the mental patients at the insane asylum break out and go after the girls. Chaos ensues. Well this film is insane. Its a mess of horror and comedy thats very gross. However I did get a few chuckles. Felissa Rose and Lloyd Kaufman have amusing cameos.

I've watched several newer movies she popped up in last Summer.

Actress Wanted(2018) An aspiring actress takes a job impersonating a lonely man's deceased wife so that he can relive his fond memories of her(without the hanky panky). You know this will not end well, but it did throw me a couple of surprises and was well acted. Language alternates between English and (I think) Vietnamese with English subs. 7/10.

But I did enjoy the similar "Willy's Wonderland" and the 2019 "Banana Splits". But I got the vibe from the Trailer it would focus on a little kid in Peril. Which I find pretty annoying in horror movies. (Unless they follow through) This movie is probably Watered down to appeal to the Kid demographic. I think I read they want to do two more films.

Yeah its is really toned down and there is a little bit child in jeopardy. Its really all just a bore. Nothing was that interesting or amusing. I liked Willy's Wonderland much better.

The Body Stealers 1969 -- A film I had not encountered before--for good reason. It sucked. However, it had a known cast: George Sanders, Maurice Evans, Patrick Allen, Hillary Dwyer (who, despite having the main actress part is not listed in the end credits!) and Neil Connery. So that's the kid brother eh? Sometimes I could see the resemblance, but other times he reminded me of the guy who played Brudah in the Yorga films.
