PSYCHOMANIA 1973- A terrible title (psycho--cycle) for a well-made supernatural biker film which is rarely mentioned due to the lack of main stars and it being an obscure UK production with no familiar distributor (Hammer etc). IMDB has it listed as the Death Wheelers which is a better title. I had seen it a couple of times before but never appreciated the way it combines the rebel with the Devil element, especially compared to Werewolves on Wheels--this film does a much much better job of exploring the ideas. Yet it feels more poetic and dramatically traditional than you would expect of a biker occult exploitation film--and when the more violent elements come--like a baby being run over--it is handled so restrained--no blood, no nudity. And the occult element --George Sanders as presumably, the Devil, is so laid back and agreeable. The writers also did Horror Express and I can see some parallels to it in the sense that the monster in that film was not really evil and Sanders appears to be a similar persona here. The soundtrack is also very memorable--if I haven't watched this more than twice how do I know the theme tune? Also the song in this is very good. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCJ5naKUVmg

6/10At a church camp a large supernatural pancake making lumberjack is stalking and murdering the kids. He uses their blood as pancake syrup. Michael Madsen stars as the wise doctor who tries to warn everyone. I was not expecting much from this film but its a pretty good comedic slasher film with some likable characters, cool deaths and really hot girls.

Evil Tapes is more of a series of short stories than it is a full movie. It has a collection of a camera mans supernatural run ins. Its not too good but it does have some pretty freaky scenes I must admit.

2/10I seen most of the Camp Blood films and Part 5 is one I could not find until now. It has to be the worst of the series. Most of the film consists of footage of other films including Camp Blood 4. Its hardly a movie. I know Silent Night Deadly Night 2 did that as well but at least that film had the legendary Garbage Day scene. The little film we do get consists of 3 girls trying to take down the killer clown from part 4.

I was thinking and hoping this would just be a low budget killer clown film. What I got was video game film with the characters mouths not even moving. A real waste of time here. A big load of nothing.

Not only one of the worst movies I have ever seen but one of the worst things I have ever seen. Horribly made in every way, nothing much happens and its extremity boring. Mostly its a bunch of dudes posing half naked and a man in a crappy bigfoot costume comes and kills them. It scores a 1.3 on IMDB. Still too high. Red Letter Media said that its the worst movie they've ever watched in the entire history of the series. That sounds right. Eric Roberts and Linnea Quigley are top billed but only do voice over work here.

Talk about sinking to the lowest levels. Based on your plot description, it sounds like it has nothing to do with D.B. Cooper.

I like him but he need to be more picky. There is a little with DB Cooper but he has little screen time. Mostly at the end of the film.

I Eat Your Skin(1971), Filmed in B&W in 1964, but not released until 1971. Low budget Zombie movie of scientists on Zombie Island creating Zombies. There is no actual skin eating(was given name to be released as a double feature with I Drink Your Blood). There are periodic scenes of native dancing girls, which just might be the highlights of this loser. 3/10.

The Case Of The Bloody Iris (1972; Giuliano Carnimeo) "The world would be a better place, if everyone had my phobia of blood."Giallo regulars Edwige Fenech and George Hilton starr in this typically convoluted Italo-thriller which is bursting with crazy wtf moments (take the scene at a night club where an erotic dancer challenges the male audience members for a fight, - the prize: her body to anyone who can overpower her in three minutes) and yet still ends up being fairly standard. Yes, as a contemporary review claimed, "it's never boring", but not stylish or creepy enough to leave much of an impression. The sleaze and comedy get in the way of effectively building any dread or atmosphere and none of the set-pieces stand out. It also has what must be one of the most obvious killers in giallo history, although his motive turns out to be fairly amusing. 6/10

The Invisible Ray (1935) Boris Karloff is a scientist who becomes contaminated by a powerful new element he discovers in a meteor. Bela Lugosi is a scientist who tries to help him, and then, when he realizes how dangerous he's become, tries to stop him. Good story, sets, and B&W cinematography. 7/10.

But couldn't remember the name. Got it mixed up with "Axe Giant: The Curse of Paul Bunyan" or "Bloody Bloody Bible Camp".

5/10Rob Zombie's shot at the Halloween franchise. I actually really like the first half of this film. Its creepy and pretty intense. The second half being mostly a rehash of the 1978 film but not near as good, just felt stale. I recall seeing this in theaters when I was 19. I liked it far better then. Shame because actually dig a good amount of Rob Zombies films. House of 1000 Corpses, The Devils Rejects, 3 From Hall and 31 I all love. 5/10Like the first Zombie Halloween film I enjoyed this far more when I first saw it. I like the brutality and the fact that it shows more originality than the other film. However it has its share of negative things like Laurie being very annoying and changing Loomis into a fame whore jerk. Its another mixed bad. I do really like the Directors Cut ending better than the Theatrical cut though. The cover of Love Hurts by Nan Vernon is pretty haunting.

6/10Returning to the original timeline (minus 2, H20 and Resurrection) was very mixed with me. One one hand I hate alternate time lines yet I was glad to see another film with Jaime Lee Curtis get made. Basically this film is pretty good. Not on the level as the first film but I would say its on par with the original Part II. I thought the part of Karen should of went to Danielle Harris instead of Judy Greer though. Greer seems more at home in rom coms than horror films.

6/10The Jester is a surprisingly good supernatural slasher film with a pretty scary villain. However its almost too much like Art the Clown just a jester version of him. The film has its flaws, like I cold not figure out why the Jester is haunting the family that he does. Why them? But still its a pretty amusing flick.

What a lousy slasher film. Its one of those endless walking around the woods films with not much going on. A young couple takes place on a online show that I guess is supposed to be erotic. This film is mostly boring and very annoying with the host of the film being a complete douchebag who sounds like a edgy teen with a lot of horrible dialog. I hated this one.

I liked it as well, and my rating is 7/10. I agree with you about the ambiguity of the Jester, that bothered me too. But for the most part I thought it was solid.

Infinity Pool (2023) A tourist on a small Island Nation commits a hit and run and discovers some curious laws they have involving crime and punishment, as well as some remarkable scientific advances they have made. Interesting but farfetched. Mia Goth is her usual sexy but creepy self. Directed by Brandon Cronenberg. 6/10.

The bit where he's 'coming up' on that drug and starts kicking his cloneself whilst gibbering is hilarious!
