I See You (2019)The trailer intrigued me because I had no idea how what was shown all fitted in with each other. The film itself was pretty damn fine....full of unexpected twists and turns.
Really awesome there sostie !!
The story's plot line from what I read seems to have all the creepy fun makings
of a movie to watch on the channels LMN or LIFETIME
( definitely another set of fun quality channels to watch movies like these on ) .
Thanks so much for this movie recommendation and for your reply here too . Not Channels I'm familiar with (am in the UK), but too bad you read the plot on Wiki...destroys any surprises the film has to offer. The trailer leaves you a little perplexed and wanting to find out more

These are the channels that I mentioned above
and that I watch from time to time also ( in the USA of course ) .
As for " spoilers " with me I tend to be very spoiler friendly
these really don't bother me at all - I completely welcome it .
Also according to my signature line
( under my Avatar pic / Screen name to the left of these replies ) it says - The best guide for TV shows and movies are spoilers - .
It's definitely what I go by to better understand
a program and movie storyline
that can sometimes be a bit difficult to follow - for me it certainly works .
I will definitely check out this movie trailer you provided here too thanks so much for putting it up here on this reply as well
Although I'm not sure if and when I will actually get to see this film
but will be looking out for it on cable TV
when I do check the schedule for other programs
perhaps it may even be On-Demand if I check that also .
Again thanks so much sostie !

You would have to think Christopher Lee got the role of Fu Manchu because of this film. Yeah one has to assume. The fake eyelids are pretty fakey here, especially on one of the supporting characters.

Agatha Christie's "The Pale Horse" and "The ABC Murders". Both were good.
"Single White Female"... Been awhile. They've really ripped this one off many times.
"Closer" (2004) good stuff. First time watch.
"Break". About Teens partying on a Gondola for New Year's Eve. Just not very convincing how quick they'd turn on one another once the Cable Car gets stuck. But it had some decent effects and scenery. An okay time waster.

One of those movies that I remember seeing pictures of in old horror and fantasy movies books, pre-1980 when I was a teen. The Devil-Doll 1936. Two escaped prisoners escapes from a French prison, one is a mad genius and the other is a banker who was falsely imprisoned for a bank fraud, could be French Guyana, reaching the formers "workshop". Turns out that the mad genius, for the better of mankind, has come up with the brilliant idea of minimizing humans to doll size (think Barbie dolls size) there would be more food to feed the world. Well he dies, but the banker who is at first repulsive to the whole idea suddenly changes his mind and thinks he could use that to revenge on the bank embezzlers who sen't him in prison in the first place...once they move to Paris... It might have been very frightening and horrific movies once as audiences was not that used to optical effects (and CGI), what is impressive is the sets they built for this production, while real actors runs around, while incorporating mini actors and real life actors was more perfected in The Bride of Frankenstein. The old lady is Oscar winner Lionel Barrymore in drag.

While I don’t find the plot to particularly hold up when the mysteries are revealed, yet the isolated snowbound location and very good central performances (Mary Steenburgen, Roddy McDowall and Jan Rubeš) give this suspense-thriller a much needed boost.

This one grows on me every time. Would have it behind ‘Inferno’ and ‘Phenomena’. Love the goblin score, especially the main theme. I find the plot’s murder mystery to be well-disguised, perfectly paced and some of the beautifully framed and stylised set-pieces to be unbearably tense and vicious. Argento has a great eye for colour plateaus, and it’s no exception here.
