Happy Death day! Great film. I read spoilers, we thought an edgy ground hog day with violence.
Went from dislike, to cheering. Great actor, would recommend.

Infestation (2009) Pretty fun and the CGI spider/human hybrids looked great...freaky, but great!

Finally picked up the Synapse 2-disc blu-ray special edition of Suspiria. As usual, Synapse did a bang-up job on the picture and sound quality. The Goblin's unusual music score can now be enjoyed better. Suspiria is undeniably one of Dario Argento's best films. It's a masterful and artistic horror piece that is beautifully shot, with its unique use of color and incredible production designs. The first murder sequence is a stunning set piece that still thrills me to pieces, no matter how many times I watch it. Forget about plot and logic, it's all about visual style here.

Rewatch. Cold, clinical first hour is sort of unsettling with its moody visuals, borrowing score and Scarlett Johansson’s detached performance. However by the third act is gets a little muddled, and loses some edge before finishing like it started. Kinda had me thinking of a slick arthouse version of Xtro crossed Species.

I need some help identifying a recent horror movie. It's about a group of older gentlemen, not super old, but older, like late 50s, maybe 60s, who have to fight either zombies, cannibals, or vampires at a bar. They fight something in a bar. That's the whole movie. These guys battling something and it takes place at or in a bar. I'm pretty sure it's a fairly recent VOD release. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Update: Solved. After a million Prime Video keyword searches I found it searching "action ensemble". It's called, VFW (2020).
