Gemma’s hair in the May 1 episode of “The Neighborhood”

What was so wrong with the hairstyle that Gemma had? Tina looked at it and exclaimed “You got black girl hair!” Well, for starters, Tina took Gemma to a black hair salon. What would she expect? Next, I didn’t see anything wrong with the hairstyle Gemma had. To me, it sort of reminded me of Barbara Eden in “I Dream of Jeannie”. Being a black man, is there something that I’m missing from the look?
