Your food disgust is low (26.63%).
Funny because I am disgusted by actual foods and sauces, from butter to mayonnaise to eggs to ranch, etc.
Also, breads with mold on any part should never be eaten. I'm not sure why disgust is applicable.

Your food disgust is average (59.5%). And here's my chart: Wouldn't say I'm equally bothered by fruit/veggie issues as mold. I've just adapted to trying to eat around mold out of frugalness. The rest checks out - I obviously don't care for bugs.

Obviously for the bakery I am extremely particular. It's the insect, hygiene/contaminants that I balk at as well.

I had nothing in vegetables, had to zoom in to see a sliver in fruit, and was only halfway to the first circle in fish. My top ones in order: Insect, hygiene, mold, human, animal, but nothing was really high.

Your food disgust is 43.88. However, I don't know what that means, and the "result wheel," isn't clear to me. I think I voted neutral on about half of the questions. For many of them, I had an "it depends," feeling. -- Are you (put off) by being served a whole fish, with the head and tail? No ... but, when I buy a fish, I ask for them to be removed. It saves me the extra step, and the butcher has a convenient means of disposing of raw "parts." -- Would you eat overripe fruit? Depends on the fruit, and how overripe it is. Many could be used in a compote. -- I have no "disgust" for raw seafood, but I don't care for the texture, and I think that cooking enhances the flavor. (A friend loves raw salmon. But, if she orders it cooked, she wants it cooked all the way through. No "pink" middle. Strange.)

With raw fish, it has to be sushi grade or it has a greater chance of having parasites (I just rocked the 70+ percenters here). The Costco guy told me not to use the ahi tuna as sashimi/sushi. Some people claim that's just a marketing term, though I tend to doubt it. I do know that worms have been found in Costco cod, but I've never heard of cod sushi. My favorite sushi is unagi, which is cooked fresh-water eel.

I don't think that I've ever had eel. I'll look into it.
