Pick a film or two from what you have seen that would you recommend to someone who was curious in delving into his work?

This a tough one. I would say ‘Phantasm’, but I can see it being a love or hate type of film due to its fragmented, if at times illogical storytelling which plays out like a dream gone bad. Even though I wasn’t as high on ‘Bubba Ho-Tep’, I would probably still recommend due to its creative novelty and performances.
