He also wrote the scripts for Psycho 2, Cloak & Dagger (both Richard Franklin films), Class of 1984, The Beast Within and Scream For Help. I think he disowned the last one because it wasn’t his original work in the final product. An Insanely ridiculous and over-the-top film from Michael Winner… if you get the chance to see it.

I didn’t realise The Langoliers is that well-liked. I know a lot make fun of the computer fx designs of the langoliers. It was bad, but it was the acting that really turned me off the feature, and the drawn out nature of the mysterious predicament with the constant conflicts.
Never read King’s story though.

I have just been fired because nobody wants to see vampire killers any more, or vampires either. Apparently all they want are demented madmen, running around in ski masks hacking up young virgins.

I don't think it is widely well liked. I was pretty sure it was pretty a pretty universal laughing stock. But in also surprised that Thinner is rated a highly as it is. I feel like most people just haven't seen it in a long time and remember it being better than it is. It's reeeeaallly dumb.
