The Director of the recent "Wrong Turn" reboot is hopeful he'll finish a trilogy of films involving the Federation. I feel like it should've been titled just "The Federation" as it has no links to the previous movies. (Besides getting lost in the Backwoods.)

Speaking of 'Backwoods' The reboot reminds me of that 2008 TV movie. Videogame Developers are hunted by a Cult living in the Woods who fear they are Outsiders or from the Government. They also keep the Females to impregnate them too.

Agreed that it around have just had a different title. It was a nice surprise, but it gains nothing by the association. I'm sure the filmmakers only got the chance to make that film because it was IP, but it's essentially a pretty interesting original movie.
