This is a tough one. My favorite OO7 movie vs my favorite Scorsese movie. If I had my head in fucking vise and had to choose, going with Scorsese.

Both are genuinely great films. Casino Royale saved the Bond franchise and ensured it would remain relevant for at least the early portion of the new millennium. It is also probably the most successful commercial and artistic example of a reboot that I can think of at this particular moment. I have nothing bad to say about Casino(I think the worst thing you can say about it is that it sometimes feels like merely an encore to Goodfellas), but I would give the slight edge to Casino Royale.

Casino, but as a kitchen worker/line cook person, I'm with the chef. The batter gets mixed in a mixer. Where the blueberries land after being whisked by a machine is anybody's guess. Support the chef!
Maybe that scene is to show Deniro's dwindling rationality in the face of stress.

Casino (1995) is brilliant, if unsettling and a tough watch.
Casino Royale (2006) I found to be fine but not particularly memorable. I never really warmed to the Daniel Craig Bond era. My favourite Bond movies are from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
