Despite the increasing scope of this series and how elaborate they’ve become, the action scenes are always clear to the viewer and goddamn stunning. Like my friend mentioned, this is next level stuff. If there’s any complaint, it can get exhausting; the Osaka bloodbath feels forever.

JW1 is in my top 50. John as predator still bests him as prey, no matter the budget.
I think they need to move on from John's mainline story now, JW4 was a masterclass of a finale.

Call me crazy, but I still think 3 had the more memorable fight sequences. The library, the horse stable, that freaking knife museum, etc. 4 was a lot more reliant on the gunkata, though it was still cool. The stair sequence was awesome and hilarious.

Yeah, the knife tossing scene in the 3rd is phenomenal. The amount of punishment Wick takes throughout these movies is comically absurd. Also, a special shout out to Donnie Yen.
