Is not that people have to stand accountable for bad things they did in the past or in the present, its the fact that there are no room for forgiveness, a person will solely be judged for the worst thing they have done, and it does not matter if they have improved themselves and changed their ways.

Worst thing about cancel culture IMO is that they are fired for something that has ZERO to do with job performance.
You hear about people doing their job well and then they get fired for the wrong remark.
And the exceptions they make.
James Gunn was obsessed with kids yet Disney hired him.
Someone else can say they want to kill white people--and nothing happens.
It's target very specifically so as to diminish social stability.

"Citi bike Karen" and "Central Park Karen". Two minor spats over a bike and a dog of its leash where nothing of note really happened. Both incidents covered by the global media for days. Its NYC. There was all manner of violent crime that day we didn't hear about. There were hundreds if not thousands of similar minor spats that took place that day. What made those two spats worthy of global media coverage and public outrage. That's what people should be asking. |

Look at Scott Adams.
He was alarmed by the videos of white people being beat up--and commenting on the Rasmussen poll which said around half of blacks in America do not think it is ok to be white--so he pointed out that it was a hate group and the numbers (millions) means it cannot be fixed--so separation is the only hope for peace.
And he was immediately canceled.
The fact that he was concerned about increasing violence and wanting to stop it--got him canceled.

Media gearing up to go big with this and only because the woman shot is black and the shooter white. Seen it on this Canadian media in the ling along with WaPo, CNN, Guardian etc. It's an altercation and somebody dies. It happens but only a select few get huge media coverage and we know which ones. Recently an elderly white handyman was shot execution style and we know it was because he was a white guy. I think the guy dishing out the slurs and harassing and abusing a white woman knows this if only on a subconscious level. Usually, it's the alleged aggressor being filmed by the "victim" or a bystander. He's filming himself harassing and abusing a white woman and probably he posted it on social media. He doesn't seem concerned in the least that he may get canceled once the mob gets wind of the video. He might even see himself as the victim of the gentrifiers. |
