Maybe. Did you know he was really pissed he wasn't nominated for Pulp Fiction? Half the jokes at his Comedy Central Roast were about him never getting an Oscar, which I'd never guess was something he even wanted. I didn't know that. Maybe people were telling him they thought he might get a nomination. I do think it is one of his most memorable performances even if he is acting within his comfort zone. I recently re-watched Pulp Fiction for the first time in 20 years. I do think his watch freakout is pretty hilarious, especially when you've been in that kinda situation with a significant other. 20 years without PF? Man, I watch it every other year.

I wore it out 20 years ago. When I have seen a movie so many times that I can recite it in my head scene by scene, I sort of get bored of watching the movie. It had been 20 years and when I watched it again it felt like I had watched it just the week before. That is how familiar my mind is with every moment of the movie.

I didn't take anywhere near as long of a break with The Dark Knight, but I didn't watch it quite as many times as Pulp Fiction. Con Air I saw 3 times at the cinema and The Dark Knight 4 times It also happened with ID4, which I figured you would get a kick out of. Didn't hold up quite as well as the others.

I think the longest I've gone without watching Scream is like 2 years. I've also been consistently rewatching TDK since theaters, it somehow feels exciting and fresh every time I see it. Speaking of ID4, I think Mars Attacks! is probably my longest break. Wore it out around 2005, now I'm back into it. There's Something About Mary is up there as well.

Recently it's become comfort food though, like when I broke up with my gf.
