I agree that Xander has done many worse things than Rex, but in Maggie’s eyes, she sees how much Xander loves Sarah and was completely faithful to her. Rex cheated on Sarah multiple times.

Wow, I heard they released the wrong episode yesterday and it leaked that Rachel was in the credits.
That's a surprise. They barely ever speak of Chelsea and she didn't come back for Bo being alive!
Is Melanie coming back too?

Of course we’re getting Emily O’Brien as Theresa for eight weeks. I guess she’ll be going back to playing Gwen after that? Also, it looks like we’re losing many Days stars by November. Martha Madison, Brandon Beemer, Camila Banus, Nadia Bjorlin and three other characters as well. Very bummed since horrible characters like Wendy, Li, Jada’s Sister (forgot her name already! LOL), Harris, Ava and Stephanie are sticking around. |

Well, Jen was talking about filming time; lord only knows how many episodes 12 weeks of shooting time will span when it comes to air; could be the better part of a year. I'm going to guess Alarr promised the moon in order to get Jen back, and then the writers were like, "There's no way in hell we can give you that many episodes for her to shoot in a week period." - Especially if you take account the number of episodes they shoot in a single week. And then the shooting logistics, whomever would be in those scenes with her would probably be in other scenes. But it sounds like the sort of ploy he'd pull to bring her back, but knew from the start they were going to recast. That they asked her to go blonde might point to their plan to have Emily play the role in a wig, because they wanted a way to visually differentiate her from Gwen, which they probably had in place before talking to Jen. |

I'm assuming with the Jen Lilley thing (she approached them about returning apparently) that the story was going so well that they wanted to keep Theresa on but Jen was only interested in a 3 month contract so they just cut her early and switch EOB to be Theresa...someone who wants to stay permanently on the show.
I am sad that Belle and Shawn are leaving, that one hurts. The scenes on Wednesday with Belle, Shawn, and Marlena were wonderful. I CRIED!!! BB did such a good job and when Marlena said to Shawn she loves him more than words can say his face...awww it was great. Watching that hurt me that they are leaving.
Why do they insist on making Ava and Tamara Braun a thing on this show?! At the expense of other characters. I like the character of Li sort of, I think the actor is very handsome, but he's not a very good actor. I think if someone stronger was in the role Li could be a great character. I also like Melinda, but not as a 3-4 day a week main character. She is taking the scheming role usually reserved for Nicole, Sami, or Kate. I cannot stand Wendy or Talia...they are horrible. Wendy is smug for no reason and Talia is not a good actress. Stephanie sucks, a lot of these new actors have no range.
As for the Xander/Sarah/Rex thing, I still think Maggie is being ridiculous. Sure Xander loves Sarah, but he could also murder her. I don't think Rex is capable of murder lol
I am not really bummed about Camila or Nadia leaving. I really don't like Gabi or Chloe and never have. But it does leave a lot of single men on the show with no one to date.

I can't see how it will work but we did have Kristen/Susan, Bonnie/Adrienne, and Marlena/Hattie kicking around at the same time so it's been done before.

Yeah, the Bonnie/Adrienne one was really bad because Adrienne was off the canvas for so long like Josh Taylor was. So, it wasn’t a thing until it became a thing. I guess we’re just supposed to pretend that they look nothing alike.

Alex and Ben were so close together and I barely remember what Ben was like, RSW has done a good job with Alex and making him different.
Maybe EOB can pull it off.
