Sacked, mutual consent, resignation - it's all the same.
No surprise to see Sean Dyche as favourite and if Everton lose at Doncaster (92nd of the 92 teams that make up the 4 divisions in the English Football League) it on't help his case one bit.
I've got be honest, really honest, and say that I couldn't tell you who Edwards and Iraola are in charge of. It's shocking really, but what with players coming and going, managers in, managers out, I'm at a loss to keep up sometimes.
I'll go either Heckingbottom at Sheff Utd or Dyche, especially Dyche if Everton go on to lose to the lowest team of 92 teams - but, wait, Everton has equalized. It's 1-1 with 17 minutes to play.
NEXT MANAGER TO LEAVE :
Sean Dyche 2/1
Paul Heckingbottom 7/2
Rob Edwards 8/1 (Luton Town)
Steve Cooper 9/1
David Moyes 10/1
Marco Silva 11/1
Andoni Iraola 12/1 (Bournemouth)
Ange Postecoglou 12/1
Gary O'Neil 14/1
Roy Hodgson 20/1
Vincent Kompany 25/1
Jurgen Klopp 28/1
Mauricio Pochettino 28/1
Eddie Howe 33/1
Erik ten Hag 33/1
Roberto De Zerbi 40/1 (Brighton - I knew that one)
Thomas Frank 40/1
Unai Emery 40/1
Mikel Arteta 50/1
Pep Guardiola 100/1
No manager to leave 500/1

Some of those odds are insane... No way are Heckingbottom or Moyes getting sacked any time soon. Well, the Moyes 10/1 is absurd. Maybe they think he'll get ill or something. I remember how bad he looked towards the end of his unsettling tenure at Man U. The place almost did for him. Big game for Heckingbottom on Saturday as he faces off with Dyche @ Sheff Utd v Everton. Sheff U look like being taken to penalties by League 1 Lincoln. In fact, they're at it now. It's 3-2 Lincoln with one penalty kick left for each. Lincoln can win it with the next kick... Egan balloons Sheffield's last kick over the bar almost into Rotherham. They've done it. It finishes 3-2 Lincoln on pens and Sheff U is dumped out. And Everton has almost done it. They've clawed a 2-1 lead at Doncaster with 3 minutes of stoppages to play.

Despite Everton's comeback win at Doncaster in the League Cup, Sean Dyche sees his odds shorten while Heckingbottom of Sheff Utd drifts slightly, with the rest of the runners unchanged.
Sean Dyche 6/4 < 2/1
Paul Heckingbottom 9/2 > 7/2

Well, after two weeks of the market maintaining a pretty low profile it's Erik ten Haag who grabs the headlines on Sunday following United's home defeat to Brighton on Saturday. Previously 33/1, ten Haag lost 22 points after the defeat to go 11/1. He's shed a further 3 points in 12 hours to become fourth favourite to go - now 8/1.
Luton's Rob Edwards narrows from 8s to 6s. Eddie Howe moves from 33/1 to 16/1 despite Newcastle's 1-0 win over Brentford. And there's still value to be found in Chelsea's Paunchitino at 20/1 from 28s, while the Bonkers Bet of No Manager To Leave has been halved to 250/1.
Two games today sees Chelsea travel like lambs to the slaughter to Bournemouth and Everton entertaining hosting Arsenal.

Post-Sunday fixtures movement as Paul Heckingbottom of Sheff U goes in as 6/4 fav, Dyche out to 5/2. Ten Haag loses another point at 10/1. Pochottino sheds a huge 10 points, 18/1 from 28s.

Ten Haag in from 10/1 to 9s, following Bayern's ownership of United in the first half of the Champions League game. They took United apart quicker than your 5 year old nephew takes apart your proudly completed 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle the moment your back is turned.

Chelsea lose at home to Villa. Forget United, this is something of a crisis brewing given ownership's proven impatience for managers, no? It has now gone beyond the point of embarrassment, humiliation and shame. There is not a single player in the squad that has an idea of on-field networking, unity and effort. Thiago Silva and Connor Gallagher occasionally show willing, Chilwell when played displays some form of cohesion and intent but overall this side is knackered before the starting pistol sounds. I've no more words. Next two away games at Fulham and Burnley would have most supporters drooling, but the knives are out and Chelsea have been found out, not today, not even after the first game of this season but found out last season, because nothing has changed. More millions spent, no change. New manager, no change. You can stuff it up your ass with Caicedo, Mudryk, Sterling, the lot of them. I'm too enervated to carry on so let's address the sack market. Following Sheff Utd's wholesale slaughter at the feet of Newcastle, Blades coach Paul Heckingbottom flies in at 1/4 favourite (from 4/6) with a big 8/1 BAR. Movers include Ten Haag out to 16s from 9s, Pochettino goes into 16s from 28s, but really all indicators point at Hecky as next to go. m.skybet.com/football/manager-specials/event/31805595

Ten Haag is back into 12s from 16s following United's humbling at the feet of Crystal Palace in their worst ever start to an EPL season. As boos rang out from the home crowd at the final whistle one was reminded of a time when there were banners paraded in the Old Trafford Stretford End in 1989 demanding that Alex Ferguson be sacked after a less than impressive impact (although United did finish 2nd to Liverpool in his 3rd season as manager) "Three years of excuses and it's still crap ... ta-ra Fergie" ran the banner after United had been humiliated by neighbours City 5-1. The season ended with United just avoiding relegation but winning the FA Cup. The rest is history as they say. But can Ten Hagg - who as I say was roundly booed off the park along with his players, ball boys, club mascot Fred the Red and anyone else considered fair game and connected to the club - can, I ask again, Ten Haag do a Smart Alex and steer this lopsided ship to smooth clear sunbathed waters? Quite frankly, you have to say No. Fred the Red was pelted by a barrage of toilet rolls (pictured here in happier times)

Book suspended with our firm at 2.25am on a Thursday morning. Usually means plans are afoot for a soon-to-be sacking. One win in ten Forest's Cooper? - make that eleven following the 5-0 trouncing by Fulham on Wednesday. Or one win in eight Burnley's Kompany? Looking at odds from other firms a strong candidate is Ten Hag, although this was prior to United's humbling of Chelsea on Wednesday. That win might just have saved his bacon - for now.

Fans still support him as he had them chanting his name last night even as they got thrashed, but not sure the owner won't pull the trigger.

Two of Saturday's results had a significant impact on the book. Forest's draw away at Wolves wiped over 5 points from Steve Cooper's pre-match odds of 1/6 and Man Utd's 0 (shoulda been 4) 3 defeat at Old Trafford to Bournemouth saw the field become a two-horse race with Ten Hag's odds plummeting from 6/1 to just above Evens.
Steve Cooper 4/6 Ten Hag 5/4
10/1 BAR

So there goes Steve Cooper after 108 games for Forest (win record 38.89%) Nuno Espírito Santo is set to take the role. Nuno was recently sacked by Al-Ittihad after 16 months in charge, winning the Saudi Professional league title - the club's first for 16 years - and the Saudi Super Cup in his first season. I mean his record there wasn't at all bad, losing just 8 of 56 and coming way with a win stat of over 64%. Since his departure the club has taken 7 points from 12 compared to 2 points from the 4 games before Nuno's departure - perhaps the expectation following the previous season was too great. I guess a run of five winless league games just doesn't cut it out there, even though you won them the title a matter of months before.
The book is readjusting itself to life without Cooper and no odds from our firm are currently to be had. But you've got to be looking at Ten Hag maybe; Burnley's Vincent Kompany? Who knows?
