It was the same old X-Story, it just had fake gravitas for being Jackman's last hurrah and killing him and Xavier. They couldn't even give the other X-Men the dignity of being killed on screen. |

You have a warped mind that likes to make excuses. DOFP was overrated because of the ending and return of old cast. Critics love Fassbenders Magneto even though you think hes a boring character. X2 is overrated because its a rehash of X1. Now you're saying similar things about Logan. How about just admitting that Logan was a great depiction and ending chapter to Wolverines arc with Patrik Stewart giving his best performance in years. It added a twist to the CBM genre by introducing a western style theme. It applied the R rating in a unique way like Deadpool for the 1st time since the Blade movies. Its GROUNDED approach was loved by critics and audiences alike who have gotten tired of seeing the same old CGI laden ending to films (by the MCU mainly) and instead gave us a humanistic, personal conclusion instead. You simply dont want to give it credit because its an adult movie with mature themes. You prefer lame kiddy comedy and fairy tale endings with the heros laughing. |

Superman flying around earth and turning back time is not grounded in the slightest. Donner's Superman wasn't grounded, but Snyder's sure tried to be. I didn't mention Man of Steel in my post. You also seem to have not watched the story Logan was based on. |
