I recently went on an MCU TV series binge watching spree since all current shows have concluded their respective seasons. Started with both Daredevil seasons, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Ironfist then finished it off with doing all seasons of AoS. I found that I actually enjoyed AoS a lot more than the other shows... which was surprising because when the Netflix shows first came out I thought they were way better than AoS. But after having watched all of them back to back to back I realized that part of the reason why I originally liked the Netflix shows more was
1. They were a new flavor to MCU and thus was interesting 2. Their entire season was released in one go, which made it easier to binge watch and which meant that you could watch the storyline relatively uninterrupted, whereas with AoS you had to wait a week in between episodes so you lose momentum a bit.
But now that we've gotten used to the tone of the Netflix shows and now that I was able to binge all AoS seasons, I realized that AoS is written a lot better, with episodes running tighter than the Netflix shows which tend to drag a bit more. Storylines in AoS were also a lot more complex, with character personalities going through a lot more trials and growth. Of course, that also might just be a consequence of AoS having a lot more seasons.
Also with the exception of Daredevil, AoS fight scenes were way better than any of the Netflix shows' fight sequences. And other than the first 2/3 of season 1, AoS is pretty much just as dark storywise with the rest of the Netflix shows. The Netflix shows have a darker color palette and do have more blood and gore most of the time but as far as storyline goes and actions and consequences and material being tackled, AoS was every bit as dark if not more so.
I'm currently halfway through Peggy Carter, and that one feels very light compared to all the rest.

I will say this, Marvel Netflix series regular talent and productions values is leagues above AOS in my opinion. SaveSaveSaveSave
