Can I just ask, what’s the point of putting pictures instead of just saying what it was? It is more fun than just seeing boring words. Movies are a visual medium and we are on a website about movies. Are you sure?

First DVD I bought was The Matrix. That said, I think the first DVD I owned was Mystery Men which was given to me as a gift.

Pretty sure the first DVD we had at my parents' house was Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The first one I remember personally owning was Stephen King's It.

The release of Grand Illusion, #1 of the Criterion Collection, was what got me to get my first DVD player (a combo VHS/DVD player).
