Not a chance. I hope I'm wrong, but I am not optimistic about Fox ever having the balls to take the X-Men into outer space.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Or better yet, stay out and jump off a cliff instead.

Two things I want to know. Is Lilandra gonna be a red head now? And why is Lilandra the villain? At most she should be near Senator Kelly and be a soft antagonist. But we all know that Magneto will be the villain, though, right?

But we all know that Magneto will be the villain, though, right? Jessica dyed her hair Crimson Peak and that will probably be the case here. It's probably going to be more based on Bendis' Trial of Jean Grey than Dark Phoenix. Like how Logan was based more on X-Men Evolution's Target X episode than Old Man Logan.

I doubt they'll capable of bringing in space aliens to X-Men at this point, not "grounded" enough.
And even if they try, they'll botch it. They don't have the right people working on these films.

I see you finally build up the courage to show your face in this thread. The series hasn't been ground since DOFP.

Nope, they still desperately try to pretend they are still "grounded" and in a "real" world compared to the MCU and stuff. The people making these movies just don't have it in them to fully embrace the comic-booky nature.

They're probably watching Ridley Scott's Alien and James Cameron's Aliens and The Abyss right for reference material. They'll also probably try to crib Independence Day.

Because in another thread you said time travel wasn't a ground concept.

Probably want to cash in on the GOTG craze. No, they've been planning on making this film the making of DOFP, which came out before GOTG.
