Of course. The answer is: life is not fair, nature is unforgiving, the world does not care what you believe, so get fucking used to it. 👍 Translation: God is a dick, and completely unworthy of "worship", but we Christians can't say it that way! You never did prove that you're the real Bryce, and not an imposter.

This stems from the time Erjen tried flirting with Monica and posted his picture, needless to say Monica didn't respond and abandoned the thread. Guess he holds a grudge. I did?? lol whoops 😂 I think he's a cute grinch 💚

I was never required to "prove" my identity in the first place. I've never concerned myself with you proving that you are the real Erjen (despite numerous posters being previously known to adopt that handle in the past, as you well know). In any case, your inability to confirm my identity doesn't alter the content of my message as it relates to this thread, nor does it have any bearing on the topic of discussion.

God allows suffering and bad things to happen because of original sin. Now this has been answered for the 85th time this question has been asked.

You're asking me to explain the actions of an almighty being who I've never met and know very little about? Go troll somewhere else. And before you ask me how I know why he allows suffering[because of original sin] it's because it's explained[to some degree] in the bible, genius.

I have a few different thoughts about why God allows suffering, 1: Since God has given us free will, he also allows us to experience the consequences when we make bad decisions; 2: In the bible it says we will have trials and tribulations. So, the suffering is just a part of life. We will have trials and tribulations, but God will deliver us from them all. Sometimes physical death occurs, but our souls are still delivered. 3. If bad things did not happen, we could never truly appreciate the good things that happen too. There would not be anything to contrast them against.

Shall I dumb it down for you?

Shall I dumb it down for you? A lot of stuff is mentioned in the Bible, including a lot of crazy stuff. It's not good reference material. As for "original sin", it seems like a d!ck move from an all-knowing, all-powerful creator, IMO.

I agree with the way you're thinking when it comes to learning about life and finding a way to view life in a positive aspect when it comes to suffering. People try to find ways to explain why sometimes bad things happen in life and how to cope with it all the time, and that's why I think people are attracted to the Bible: it is an attempt to explain something they don't know about but come up with something that makes the most sense to them in explaining the way the world is. So should we ask this instead: Why would there have to be a God to allow suffering in the first place? The fact is, God or no God, there will still be suffering.

Why did you think I was looking for your opinion? I don't know. Perhaps....because you posted on a public discussion board?! Well I wasn't looking for your opinion. At least offer a different perspective next time. You just repeated what most atheists/non christians say. We get that you "dont believe in the bible" or think "it's stupid" or that "God is evil" or whatever tired and often repeated line you feel like using.
