Okay, I voted for Giles, but that is subject to change as I go through the episodes.
The reason I picked Giles was that Faith and Anya came later, so while I cannot imagine the show without Giles, that is not really the case with Faith and Anya. [Sort of my own version of Xander's Me like Buffy. Buffy's alive, so, me glad. ]
On a side note: I kind of hated what was done to his character in S6 and S7. I can understand ASH's reasons for not wanting to be a full-time cast member and I don't for a second fault him. I do, however, wish the writers had handled it a bit more elegantly.

I voted for Buffy, but Angel is my favorite Buffyverse character.

Honestly, I couldn't really choose between voting for Buffy or Faith, but in the end went for Faith simply because there was never any times I really disliked her (yes, even when she was being 'evil' and lashing out at Buffy, Angel and their friends - I understood her actions, even if I disagreed with them). However, there were a couple of times where I disliked Buffy, though generally I was on her side most of the time. So in the end Faith edged out Buffy just by a smidgen for me.

Well I voted for Spike. It's a big toss up because I enjoy so many of the characters. Buffy kicks ass and can't help but love her. Willow, especially when she went Dark, was excellent, and I like her character arc.
Faith was an interesting one.
Drusilla and Spike were incredible. I loved their Love. Dru was so crazy-creepy weird-psycho, how could you not love her? Spike is who I voted for because I feel like he went through so many changes and got to do and say and experience things in such a wide variety of ways.
Brooding Angel was hot from the get-go, sort of dewy sexy type.
But I think I'm still stuck on the Drusilla and Spike combo.

Buffy was awesome, but I have to go with Faith.
But only when she was evil. I have a bit of a fetish for powerful, evil women. Faith got boring real fast when she turned good.

Well, everyone knows that Angel vote is mine. I think we're missing our little club of Angel fans from the IMDb crew. Damn.
I find Angel endlessly relatable, complex, interesting, philosophical and inspiring. He always falls down and has to get back up again, he's self-deprecating, intelligent with quite a nerdy side using all 250 (actually about 377 at the end) years of his experiences (the living history thing, and he's the one that does all name-dropping, languages and traveling, is so incredibly sexy to me as a history nerd), a complete sweetheart but can be vicious to those who hurts someone he loves, socially awkward, struggles deeply with his own self-worth, an introvert because of being emotionally shattered who was once actually an extrovert, is always the odd one out even when he's surrounded with people who love him and are trying to bring him out of his shell, thinks with his head instead of his heart--even when the decisions are painful, is endlessly selfless, he's the last to give up on people and he's the biggest champion of human free will in the Jossverse despite being the biggest Prophecy's Bitch and having once had a very poor opinion of humanity himself. And I've always been drawn to a lot of tragic heroes.

Seriously though, I did have a few questions/clarifications if you don't mind?
In your total, are you including the years he spent in the hell dimension after the events of Becoming?
Are you the one who had the interesting post about Darla being in Jamestown(?). I think it had a link to a reference article about the colony having only 2 known female inhabitants. It's long gone now since IMDb vaporized, but if it was you, do you still have the info?
And hey, while I'm interrogating you bothering you er, chatting with you: Was it you and "HBay" (something like Hyzkerbajian?) who used to have those epic Bangel vs Spuffy ... discussions ... on IMDb? *** [*** Where @loui_b452 / @leop2008 , PreachCaleb , stargazer1682 and I all used used to line up to watch with our to watch?]
Or was that someone else?

You really found her boring when she turned good? Even on AtS? Maybe it's because I adore Faith, but I absolutely loved her throughout her entire character arc -- good, bad, evil, criminally insane, seeking redemption etc.

A bit, yeah. I mean, it was still a good character well played, it's just that it wasn't ringing that particular "evil" bell for me any more.

LOL. Yes, that was me. The history nerd Angel stan who researched the number of females at Jamestown (both are accounted for, so fanfic writers would have to get creative there--lost Roanoke settler born c. 1585? Stowaway?), talked about the merchant class being the original middle class and debated what was, sorry to say, a particularly peculiar Spuffy fangirl that made me look sane. And yep... I can do basic arithmetic unlike whoever wrote Halloween (::grumbles about Liam not being 18 in 1775, but rather 1745: . 26 (Liam) + 145 (Angelus) + 98 (pre-Buffy) + 2 (Angel pre-hell) + 100 (hell) + 6 (post-hell) = 377. Or, put more simply, 2004 - 1727 = 277 + 100 = 377. Giles first puts forth the idea that Angel probably spent at least a century in hell and Angel confirms it as a century in Deep Down.
