I'm alone in my Oz love??? Damn. It's cold in here all by myself. I don't think I've ever encountered a huge fan of Oz. So smart, so quiet, so sweet and passionate...and not a lot of hangups, barring the werewolf thing. One of my favorite looked-over moments in the series is in the episode when Buffy can read people's thoughts, what she hears in Oz's head is so frikkin' priceless. I think I just personally identify with Oz types as that's my kryptonite. Love me a quiet, intelligent man who is fiercely protective and loyal and shows only me his sweet side...until he werewolfs. A true alpha.
EDIT: Angel is also a true alpha but that boy has more baggage than La Guardia three days before Thanksgiving.

I loved the near-deadpan way he would deliver lines which would cause me to double over laughing -- a lot of the time, if the line had come from any other character it wouldn't have been nearly as funny.

For me, Oz was very one-note. He was mysterious and stoic, was in a band, extremely intelligent, oh and a werewolf. Aside from the supernatural aspect, there was nothing realistic or relatable about him.
