So I saw ww on opening night on IMAX and I already knew that there wasn't a post-credit scene.
When I got up, wich I do a minute or two after the credits start rolling so i don't get caught with those people that have to be the first out of there (always wondered why so many people feel the need to storm out as soon as the lights turn on), as i was leaving I took a look and a good chunk of the theater was still sitting and waiting for the post-credit scene.
I didn't wait to see if people stayed but i grabed a bite outside and a few minutes later the rest of the people poured out.
So I was intrigued, this is some pavlovian shit! People are so used to a post credit scene in the MCU that they automatically assume there is one in each SHCBM? Or did they think this was an MCU movie, being good and all? (jk)
Did something like this happen at your showing?

Actually yes, probably 3-4 dozen people.
But DC doesn't have a plan for what they're doing so I don't know why they would have post credits. They're just making it up as they go along and that's good enough for sheeple.

I noticed a handful of people creeping to the exits very, very slowly as if they were expecting something. I had to chuckle a bit... I left promptly because I needed to be somewhere else.

Yeah, we got up immediately because I had read there was no post-credit scene. Most of my theater stuck around, though. I'm guessing they were annoyed they waited for nothing.

good, good let that fanboy butthurt flow through you, Stanton. Always remember: 1. Third best reviewed SH movie ever 2. Hailed as an historic achievement 3. Opened much higher than male origin movies such as Thor & Cap 3. DC Heroins are only more popular because they are "Sexed up whores" (Quote Stanton) And DC are sheeple indeed. Quote Kevin Feige: " Superman: The Movie is still to this day the archetype of the perfect superhero film origin story and we watch it before we make almost any one of our films," ... "and that's been the case for the past seventeen years since I left the fold to go work for Marvel."

It's just that I'm still waiting on somebody to articulate how it's any better than First Avenger because I don't see it.
Yes, and Superman: The Movie was good. I agree. He's just become less and less relevant in the last 40 years is all. Lastly I wonder how fully clothed Harley would have gone over and I suspect not with much less pop.

sure. You have been provided with facts and countless points. Your sticking-my-head-in-the-sand tactics are part of your problem you don't have. If you believe it it's not a lie; even when ignoring countless TV shows and films (including his childhood in Smallville or even with spin offs with Supergirl and Supes), cartoon shows and comics. Wonder where poor Ironman will be dumped when RDJ leaves, don't think he will stay in the current league without old Robert... That will very much depend on the cloth, and Harley Quinn was always popular, fully clothed or not . But why don't you open another "Was DC-actress X banged by her boyfriend in costume" thread? These are so informative.

I'm sorry you must have me confused with somebody who is emotionally invested in what happens to Iron Man after RDJ leaves. We'll find out.
What facts support Wonder Woman as better? I mean I know the RT score. Is there something about the film itself you could point out?

I could, but you opened a thread on that very subject and were fed with ample mind food. I too contributed several points. If you are still not satisfied, this may be attributable to the fact that "better" is a merely subjective term. Transformer fans find that franchise better than Godfather and will even argue it's the greatest achievement in film history; Justin Beaver fans will roll over Beethoven listening to The Beaver's outings; Trump fans will find Donald the best thing since Jabba the Hutt, etc. So, it's a futile discussion about taste.

WW has a better romantic plot than CATFA. there.

I was given some thoughts, but just because you contributed a point doesn't mean you made your case, and as far as I could tell most of those points applied to First Avenger or were done better by First Avenger, or there were different aspects of First Avenger that meet or exceed anything in WW.
I have already outlined several concerns in detail for why I think WW comes up short of FA, and I have yet to see anybody address those or make a compelling case beyond just pointing to an RT score, box office number, or somebody else's thoughts.

So Tristan comes in, wipes the floor with you, and you're still too dumb to have to the good sense to just let it go? I was about to chime in, but he's already done it for me. Your fanboy bullshit is bankrupt, bro. Move on. Maybe... into a street full of cars? Tell them about how great the MCU'a box office is as they're rushing toward you. I promise they'll PROBABLY stop -- OR, at the last second, a Marvel superhero might just rush down from the sky and save you as a reward for being a zombie shell of a human being who's reduced his entire human experience to posting idiotic, dichotomous shit about comic book movies on a message board.

well I did, but because I sit though credits in general. but others did as well, some people were "upset" there was nothing. Really? I get the come on leave already vibe from the cleaning people if I stay till the end... I do enjoy some stuff from the credits especially if a cgi character or in animated has a voice I recognized and don't know beforehand who is playing, but want to check it out see if I'm right. I stay for the MCU movies of course but so half the theater so that doesn't count I guess. (And the cleaning people just have to wait but they expect it. I bet they hate the MCU. Lol)
