I'm watching all sorts of reactions, and I'm actually really excited by the ones from members of the black community who are absolutely getting amped by it. I love that. They seem to really be connecting to the cast, the cultural depictions, the music, and of course all of the nerdy stuff. It's great to see for me, because I love different cultures from Asia, to India, to Africa, to Latin America, and seeing the people who have a genuine love for them gives me a sense of love for them in a way I couldn't understand just on my own. So what I'm wondering is, do people in the black community feel that the turn out from the black community be huge for this movie?

I'm biracial on my father's side (physically I resemble Giancarlo Esposito except half his age). I guarantee that they'll come out in droves for it. Not simply because he's black (it's a plus don't get me wrong) but it's a positive role model for them to look up to. Kind of like Luke Cage was on the street level but here, Black Panther is the ruler of his own country. He's regal, authoritative, and heroic. That'll guarantee Marvel some $$.

The most awesome part of seeing this trailer is getting that sense that people are really connecting to it. I'm white, and it's hard to explain, but you see other cultures like China, or Argentina, etc, but you don't really get the sense of what they are and what they mean to people unless you see the love on someone's face who has that connection to them. Of course I don't have that connection for Black Panther, it's like he's another great comic book character to me, but to see that deep emotional reaction from people who do view him as that positive role model they can relate to gives me a sense of emotion to it and adds this whole awesome epic layer to it that I didn't expect to feel. I'm not even worried about how it effects the $$, I just think it's bad ass to see this connection. Thank you for the response.

I remember there was an especially condescending thread (or post) by Jar Jar Stanton where he constantly expressed how happy he was for black people that Disney-Marvel finally gave them a "black" CBM about their origins.
