Recently finished up watching the entire Hawaii Five-0 series (original run), and realized it ran through the entire decade of the 1970's (total of 12 seasons, 1968-1980). Of all sitcoms/dramas (i.e., all SCRIPTED shows), what were any/all of the other shows that spanned entire decades?  SAVE FERRIS |

If soaps count, then "Days of Our Lives". It has been running since the 1960s (and they still haven't finished that cup of coffee). So has "Coronation Street". |

The Big Bang Theory Cheers Criminal Minds CSI CSI: Miami Frasier Happy Days JAG Law & Order Law & Order: SVU The Love Boat NCIS Smallville Two and a Half Men Out of all of those shows, the only ones that ran through an entire decade was Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU. These shows all ran 10+ seasons but that's not what the OP was asking for. They were asking for shows that covered a time period that starts from XXX0 to XXX9. Like 1980-1989, 1990-1999, or 2000-2009 for example |

It occurs to me that since Doctor Who ran until 1989, it also ran through the 80s - although I think it had a year off during that decade, so a definite maybe
