And that's your problem. I can't imagine thinking that every movie in a (so far) 15 part franchise is 100% perfect. That's obsessive, and not in a good way. Half the fun is seeing the franchise grow and evolve. It's no different than me saying, "You're wrong for not liking Star Wars. You're just wrong. How can anyone deny how huge of an achievement Star Wars is? You can't deny that Star Wars is great. You can't. What a waste you are for not liking every second of every Star Wars movie." That's what you sound like. And, no, it's not any different. I never thought that someone who loves the MCU as much as I do would be told half the crap you spout to me. I didn't say they were perfect. But that doesn't imply there is something wrong with them either. It's not obsessive, they're just well made and I'm enjoying that. I think somebody what I say get's taken the wrong way or perhaps I state it more aggressively than I should, so for that I apologize.
But you did try to state that DC's films are equally good to MCU phase 1, which I mean come on bro. If you expect that kind of opinion to get the thumbs up, I don't know what to tell you.
Well first of all, I too tend to get more aggressive than I mean to, and tone is hard to pick up on when we're typing, so it's no big deal. Anyway, I only stated that these first FOUR DCEU movies were similar to the first FOUR MCU movies. That's not all of Phase 1. That leaves out two of the best three of that Phase. I'm trying to compare the two to the length that they can so far. They are too different in tone and length to fully compare them yet. That can come after all essential solo movies have been done (basically just Flash and Aquaman now) and JL has been released. |

Well, there are more movies besides comic-book movies and blockbusters. i take what i like from comic book movies, and don't care if it's DC or Marvel or whatever.not everybody is counting the days untill the next comic-book movie. I for one, do not care about the 78th reboot of Spiderman or the third Thor. I am however curious about Infinity Wars and Justice League Great. You're not one of the fandom then, which is fine. I'm not really a Star War person.

Ant Man and Doctor Strange were serviceable and about as generic as you can get. Nothing memorable about them whatsoever apart from the CGI and special effects. But I would prefer seeing Doctor Strange 2 only because Benedict Cumberbatch is a better actor.

Why are you using the best DC film as the example? SS, BVS, and MOS, don't touch any of the phase 1 MCU films, pick any 4 you like.
And I'm not sure that WW is better than Thor. Certainly not by much if it is. I'm not even sure it's better than IM2, which is actually pretty good.
So Let's stack Thor and WW as equal at the top. IM, Hulk, and IM2 crush MOS, BVS, and SS, and there's no contest.
