For me a tie between the 50's and the 30's. My most re-watched, "forever" films seem to come largely from these two decades. Woah ! I just realized that most of the 30's I got to see on Million Dollar Movie in the 50's. I decided to vote for 50's as those were first run films I got to see on BIG theater screens.

I wouldn't call it the best, but I enjoy 1950s films the most. I also enjoy 1950s music, 1950s TV, 1950s cars, and 1950s cameras. I just seem to like 1950s things a lot.

The 1920's.
I just love that decade for a film. There are such many great silent films, and what they did for special effects is just amazing. It's sad that there are barely people who chooses for the 1920's while it is beginning for a film.
The 1950's is also awesome all because of screenplays and dialogues.

'Best' or 'Favorite?' I personally think it's a toss up between the 70s and the 90s for 'Best,' but I'd lean toward 90s for 'favorite.'

Introduction to all of the older films that in the 50's we were too unsophisticated to reject just because they were old. There is a thread going on CFB : where posters first noticed actors. Many were via TV showings. I first saw all of the Warner Brother's tough guys on M$M and only later learned that many of them were already dead by the time I discovered them. M$M and going to see all of the new pictures as they came out, many of which I was waaaay too young to understand, were the start of a life long love of film.
