Can you link to some please? I am genuinely interested in these proofs, please don't link to an opinion piece, a scientific paper will do nicely.

Can you link to some please? I am genuinely interested in these proofs, please don't link to an opinion piece, a scientific paper will do nicely. I am thinking about the Libet experiments, where he found out that the body acts before the consciousness makes the decision. This is evidence that body and "soul" are an inseparable unit; and when the body dies, so does the "soul". That's not proof, but it's evidence. And in my opinion it's better than any evidence found in favor of an afterlife. EDIT: Scientific papers should be available in the field of neuroscience. I read about it in a newspaper; but since it seems to confirm what I already believe, I didn't look deeper.

Great thread. Reminder, don't forget to do good dental care and keep up with your dental appointments.

The evidence available is available to everyone. Much of the evidence involves knowledge of things that could only be known through other than the ordinary senses. It can be very convincing to people who are certain no ordinary presence was involved. For example if you are a close relative of Akiane Kramarik familiar with traffic around her you would have considerable certainty who did or did not paint her famous paintings. Otherwise you can easily believe someone else painted them. Now do you understand how the evidence is available only to a very few? It happens to be very scientific. Any incorporeal being, if certainly existing, would be evidence of incorporeal existence, making an afterlife at least possible. So much for your notion that I "never provide" evidence.

Whatever he "found out" I see none of it. How exactly could he know when people "make" decisions? If you refer to the autonomic nervous system, that speaks nothing at all to the matters, spiritual and otherwise, at hand.

You are quoting me and asking for comment on something some one else provided. That you tried your water joke on me to try and imply you were intellectually superior is, in light of this, perhaps the funniest thing I have read today. Tell me what actual qualifications do you have??

The original was brilliant. I don't know if this one will be as good but it looks like it might be worth watching. Agreed. Seems like most remakes are lacking, and sometimes a trailer makes a film look much better than it actually is, but I'd give it a try. Apparently it's a sequel and not a remake because Kiefer Sutherland's character is returning.

I thought it was a remake but someone told me it was a sequel because Burt Reynolds returned playing his original character.

tpfkar Ahh, you nutcases. People of God did not have to kill them either because God killed them for us. The point remains that homosexuals are dumb, senseless animals that might need to be killed.
