8/10 for me.
The first season is definitely the most intriguing and just generally interesting and fun learning about each character. It has some dull moments throughout but for the most part the characters carry the story for me. I was more interested in seeing Jack and Kates conversations than i was any smoke monster...but i understand if other people were more interested in the supernatural aspects.
