...try some Liederkrantz... My dear mother when I was about 7 had taken some of that, & put it on toasted bread & stuck it in the microwave. My dear father proceeded to come down the stairs, into the kitchen, & say "Jesus H Christ what the hell is that smell!" Remembrances like those make me miss my mom & dad all the more.

...yes, Liederkrantz was very pungent. One other that was a favorite of mine was Pont'lEveque. Very gamy odoriferous cheese especially if purchased beyond its date...however, when fresh, a fabulous cheese on crusty French bread w/a good red wine...

Yes, I do love it, but keep it under control. Less is more.
My favorite types are gouda, cheddar, and muenster.
