A few years ago there was a boom of teen dystopian movies like "Hunger Games", "Maze Runner", "Divergent" and their sequels. Do you like such movies?

I've enjoyed all the Maze Runner and Hunger Games films
Battle Royale is the daddy of them all though.

the first two Hunger Games movies are good but outside of those the series dropped off a cliff. i am surprised they are consistently boring after the first two as i could not even finish them.
so given the OP's examples... there is more negative there than positive overall. so i voted NO even though i do like the first couple of Hunger Games movies like i was saying.

I enjoyed The Hunger Games and I think Catching Fire is a great movie. I also got some enjoyment out of the first Maze Runner movie. But besides those 3 I don't think I've seen any good teen dystopian movies, so I'm happy that the genre isn't as popular anymore as a few years ago. There are many more bad YA movies than good ones so I also voted 'no'. Battle Royale is better then all of them.

I liked the Hunger Games, Maze Runner and Divergent films. They're not my all time favorites, but for a couple of hours of escapism not bad at all.

No, but I can appreciate they were all taken directly from book source material. I worked at a big chain bookstore for a few years, & I never realized (but admired) how committed the teenaged book genre had become.
I'm not certain how many ppl recognize these franchises were first beloved as books. Pretty big in this tech age.
