Ashwin and Yadav are being taken to the cleaners by windies batsmen. Time we drop them and stick with Jadhav and Jadeja as the spinners in ODIs. Man, Kuldeep Yadav would be a better choice than Ashwin and Jadhav. He gives away runs but at least he consistently takes wickets. Ashwin has become too defensive and only looks to save runs. He is not at all effective on non-turning tracks. I am still not over the humiliation we suffered at the hands of Pakistan. My Pakistani Flatmate further exacerbates my wounds by mentioning how he went to the Crown and saw Indian fans already drunk as if they were destined to win. I have to say decision to chase in final is almost always wrong. |

When we suffered such humiliations back in the 90s, it was easier to stomach somehow. Time to move on. |

I used to like Sarah Taylor from England but now Mandhana will become my fav. Also respects to our legend Mithali Raj. She is probably the greatest bats woman ever across 3 formats. |

Definitely yes. Incredible stats that seem to defy reality. When i compare her to all her contemporaries I don't see any one as consistent and anyone as big a run machine as she has been. May be slightly average side when it comes to strike rate but makes up for that with extraordinary average. |

Meg Lanning and Ellyse Perry of Australia match her in ODI cricket because of close to 50 averages but when you consider all 3 formats, none equal M Raj. |
