^ What this guy said. Quote again: " Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." (A Einstein). But I am pretty sure Albert did not mean the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Did you just read the title, or did you bother to read what I wrote? Indeed, sir, I did, alas. Had I just read the title a simple laugh and eye-roll would have sufficed. I heard similar nonsense from all kinds of fandom, especially H Potter, LotR, Nolan-ites, and such. But reading your OP setting forth non sequiturs and random mental leaps, left me with the uneasy feeling that you should leave and sanitize your mental echo chamber from time to time to get some fresh air. I mean you start out with drafting an "epic poem" about great cinematic achievements like 2001-ASO, but then arbitrarily jump to a current B-movie blockbuster series about beefy superheroes (to put that on the same artistic level I guess). Then you passionately compare your desire to see these beefy superheroes meeting each other with "banging an entire cheerleader team"....frankly, this is the point where I stopped caring about the line of thought, as it felt more like a horny fanboy's dimwitted ramblings in lieu of a serious argument as to why we may deal with the "pinnacle of cinema art" here... No offence though. I am sure you have your fans here.

I'm disappointed we will never get to read "the epic poem outlining the history of cinema and touching on profound masterworks like Bernardo Bertolucci's The Last Emperor or Kubrick's 2001."

Why are old threads getting bumped? Same over on politics It is obvious. It is Infinity War time, so it is also butthurt time for the haters. They need to deflect and play dumb. Just see the responds to a thread from so long ago, soreness and resentment in their highest forms. Calling it the opposite whitout any real reason. Just looking at how awful the DCEU and the crappy (and unnecesary) FoX-Men are, there is nothing more they can say.
