It's interesting that when Nirvana started to get noticed in the UK they would be listed with bands like Pixies, Mudhoney, Tad etc...nothing like the bands they were later grouped with

It's interesting that when Nirvana started to get noticed in the UK they would be listed with bands like Pixies, Mudhoney, Tad etc...nothing like the bands they were later grouped with Becoming famous pushed the group of five (N,PJ,AIC,SG,STP) into a different comparison category all their own, leaving better bands from the scene like Mudhoney, TAD, Melvins, in the underground...

I'll probably always associate them more with TAD than any other band - both used to get a lot of coverage in the weeklies, particularly when they toured together
