Some of these are obvious pickings, like Ice Ice Baby and Mmm-Mmm-Mmm-Mmm, which are both "so bad they're good" for me. I also (kinda) like the Breakfast at Tiffany's song (but just a little bit)

The only thing more idiotic than the Blender list is that awful VH1 special that resulted from it, in which "celebrities" that nobody has heard of comment on the songs.

As for dissing Linda Perry's vocals, I think they add to that song, not take away from it.

You must be referring to Vh-1's "Awesomely Bad Songs". I've seen a series of specials they had also done..."Awesomely Bad Love Songs", "Awesomely Bad Break Up Songs", etc.

They played it on one day that Summer and never aired it again. I remember Devo's " Whip It" was #99 or 100. And there were two popular Eminem songs on there.

Agreed. About that song, that melody made its way into Ariana Grande's first song -- Put Your Hearts Up.
One of the co-writers of that song? Linda Perry.
#29 = Breakfast At Tiffany's. Huh? I thought this was the most PERFECT song.
#1 = We Built This City. Huh? I enjoyed the song (still do).
What did JokersWilde do in salute to this song?
Drives down a major highway with the windows rolled down, with that song blaring thru the stereo.
(Seriously, I did this.)
And, truth be told, I have 32 of these songs (64%) of these songs on my iPod.

Any bad song list with Two Princes and What's Up? meets with my wholehearted approval. I don't strongly disagree with any of their other selections, though I do enjoy both The Sounds Of Silence and Rollin' once in a while.

Simon & Garfunkel on a list of the 50 worst songs ever?
No wonder Blender got cancelled! Blasphemy!

Disagree with The Doors at #26.

There was an exceptionally long thread on the old board about detestable tracks. Lots of disdain for several Elton John numbers (I mentioned Benny and the Jets). Old timers here will recall a regular contributor's dislike for Lennon's Imagine. No mention of Reg or Imagine on the list.
I know Ob-La-Di is widely disliked. Lennon loathed it and stormed out of the studio while working on it. But I like it.
I don't care for We Built This City but it isn't a bad song.
Sounds of Silence is one of my favorites of the 60s.
I might dislike The End by the Doors if it hadn't been used to bookend Apocalypse Now.
Party All the Time is kinda cute in my view.
By the by, I'd never heard of Blender till now.

"Walking On Sunshine" by Katrina & The Waves could fill every spot on this list and I'd be happy. Has there ever been a more annoying song that seems to be everywhere and follows you everywhere?

I disagree with many of their picks...
And who are "they"?
This list seems like it was created by one person with an ego problem, "Worst Ever"... and not created by taking any kind of a real poll from a large group of random people...
Blender Magazine can go burn itself in a trash can.

The Doors' The End does not belong on that list. Neither does any Beatles' song, TBH. I also kinda like My Heart Will Go On. It's different-sounding for a pop ballad and Celine kills it vocally. Also agree Simon & Garfunkel shouldn't be there. Other than that, pretty solid list.

There are terrible songs on the list which belong there, but many are merely below average or innocuous...Plenty of worse songs floating around in the ether...
