Ha! No way, I maybe love 80's music too much. Just this song, It's overkill.

I'd say about 10% deserved to be on the list, 60% I really liked, and 30% I was indifferent to.

I couldn't read anymore after I saw Sounds of Silence on the list.

The expected idiotic comments in the article.
When will people start demanding that professional writers know something about music if they're going to write about it?

The author doesn't even get non-musical facts right, by the way. Re Chicago, he acts like Peter Cetera was a much later addition. Cetera wasn't a founding member, but when Cetera joined, they were still a cover band going by the name "The Big Thing."

Basically anything by Avril Lavigne is a million times worse than anything on that list.

Where's Agadoo by Black Lace? Yes. Now THAT'S an awful song. I mean, I love 1980s pop music a lot, but that song is just horrible.....

Never bothered with all these "Worst of this and that" awards, and where as usual the most of the songs included are usually the more annoying or terribly overplayed stuff than coming any close of resembling the sheer "torture" which some of these clickbaiting threads like to make them out as. There are far worse stuff going on the radio right now, or so it seems whenever I try my "luck" than any of these 50 "horrible" songs could ever come close to achieving.

Yeah, that and Mr. Mister - Broken Wings are classic 80s songs and should be nowhere near a word such as "worst".

22 TOBY KEITH “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)” 2002 Oklahoma redneck runs for office on Hate ticket
Outraged by the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Toby Keith enlisted in the Air Force — no, sorry, he wrote a fight anthem so vengeful, it makes “The Star-Spangled Banner” sound like “Give Peace a Chance.” Though right-wing radio hosts and politicians called him a hero, Keith (who hadn’t had a hit in years) moaned, “It sucks ass that I have to defend myself for being patriotic.” Wrong. You have to defend yourself for celebrating violence and bloodlust.
Worst Moment“We’ll put a boot in your ass; it’s the American way,” Keith sings, mistaking revenge for ideals of liberty. This #1 song from Toby was the next song in line after his previous four releases to radio had all gone to #1 too and no, there was no long period of time in between any of their releases. His follow up to this song named "Who's Your Daddy?" went to #1 as well. If that is the sign of not having a hit in years, what is considered a success then? God bless you and Toby always!!! Holly P.S. Go here for Toby's radio history.
