Love all four (Especially Touch of Evil)...The only real negative I could throw out would be to lament Welles losing final cut on Ambersons and RKO mutilating his version (Still turned out to be a classic, though...)...

Ambersons is my favorite Welles picture--so absolutely superb--and I'm very fond of Lady from Shanghai and Touch of Evil.
I've always found The Trial to be Welles's worst film: overwrought, paradoxically bombastic and minimalistic at once, colorless, drab, boring, with all the effect and emotion of Malevich's White on White. I still can't believe he did it, to be honest.

I just wanna state, that I dislike his second film the most, because I read a negative review on imdb that I agree with.
