I'm really hyped to see this movie(even before I had read the reviews on it.Baby Driver will probably make very little splash at the box office....

From Top Critics(only 5 so far out of 41 reviews) it has an average score of 9.4. Wow!

It's due to be released early tomorrow (I'm shocked but happy) so I'll probably catch a late showing then.

First Rotten review from Anthony Lane (New Yorker). It now also has a 'critics consensus': "Stylish, exciting, and blessed with a killer soundtrack, Baby Driver hits the road and it's gone -- proving fast-paced action movies can be smartly written without sacrificing thrills."

Looking forward to this one (esp since I've enjoyed Wright's previous films and the review have been great). Lets hope it'll make more money than Scott Pilgrim vs the World.

Well, it had to be that one guy that gave it a rotten review. His opinion amount to shit for me since he also gave bad reviews to: Logan,Civil War, Deadpool, Amelie, Hateful8,Guardians 2, and mostly all superhero movies. Ok, he gave a rotten review to Gone Girl that i agree with, but that does not mean we share the same taste

Its Metacritic rating went up to 86. Great to see that this movie is getting a lot of critical attention. Let's see if this translates to box office numbers, because it would be great if we finally get a Edgar Wright movie that most people see in theaters instead of at home. I know it's a little early to talk about this, but does anyone think this has a shot at getting an oscar? I think it's at least highly likely to get nominated in at least one of the sound categories (or Best Film Editing), but are there also possible nominations beyond those categories? Edgar Wright movies have never been nominated for an Acadamy Award before if I'm right, so it may be hard to get a nomination in another category.

This film rocked! Also the soundtrack shits all over GOTG Vol 2's soundtrack (no question).
8/10

Went to see it today. And just like that, Logan is no longer my number 1 best movie of the year.

Saw it thirty minutes ago. Great crime comedy/romance. 8/10. The romance between Ansel Elgort and Lily James was sweet and free of irony. The action scenes and car chases were AWESOME. The veteran actors pulled their weight effectively. Plus it's fun.

Just seen it and it was very entertaining. Didnt like the direction they took in the 3rd act though, felt a bit messy and unconvincing where's the first 2 acts were well defined. Still, highly recommended 8/10

Just saw it and loved it!!!! Wright has done it again. I really liked the action and music of it all, the cast was perfect as well. Ansel really did a good job, and I think I am in love with Lily James now.

SPOILERS--Never an Edgar Wright fan,but I am now---really exciting, and a seamless interaction of music and action, really impressive car scenes--be warned that its much more violent than either The Driver(1978) and Drive(2011)--one scene that really stands out is where Jamie Foxx gets deservedly impaled, caught me off guard lol

I thought it was very entertaining and the audio/visual aspects complemented each other wonderfully. That being said, I wish Baby had more "classic" taste in music -- but yeah, he's young. Definitely one for the Blu-ray collection later.

I thought it was awesome- a very original plot and an excellent cast, especially Kevin Spacey and John Hamm. I was a little disappointed that Jon Bernethal only had a minor role, however. Be warned that it is very dark and violent in places.

It amused me for it's running time, and that's all. I won't likely rewatch it. I didn't care for about 75% of the soundtrack. I thought that the music selections were a bit too "B-side-"/"deep cut-"oriented for my tastes. Had the music (oh, and the ending) been better, this could have been a freaking TEN. As it is? About a 7.
