I think the Celtics are going to draft Tatum. If they keep the pick, I'd much rather have Jackson. Tatum is a better fit, but Jackson has far more upside. I've always believed that you take the best player available. Drafting based on a team's needs is how you end up with Bowie over Jordan. Butler traded to TWolves for Lavine, #7 pick and Dunn Wow. Guess the Celts didn't want him that much The Wolves also recieved the #17 pick. Traded a #5 and a #8 pick plus moved down 10 spots. That's a little too much don't you think?

Queens got their man and didn't have trade up - good move.

Glad Butler didn't somehow end up with Lebron.
Celts should have taken Jackson.

Celts should have traded for Butler or Zinger. i just don't get it. they've got Crowder, Brown and are supposedly going after Heyward free agency i get we're playing 'positionless baskeball' now - but they're so guard and wing heavy

Embiid to Simmons about Lonzo: "Please dunk on him so hard that his daddy runs on the court to save him."

If they drafted Dennis Smith Jr. or someone of his caliber, you'd expect a player who can contribute immediately. This kid, though? He's 18, he played a lousy 18 mpg in Euroleague...this is the kind of pick you make and expect to ripen in three or four years. I hope I'm proven wrong. Even the analysts don't seem to know what to make of the pick, because information on this guy is scarce.

Embiid to Simmons about Lonzo: "Please dunk on him so hard that his daddy runs on the court to save him." Simmons sister dissed Ball on Twitter too. I actually feel for the kid - but he appears to be level headed, soft spoken and a nice kid. Hoping he succeeds and his Dad shuts up and concentrates on the 2 younger sons now i think he'll be fine.....

Sorry Celts and Knicks fans - I was actually pulling for you tonight i'd be tossing beer cans at the TV right now. meanwhile my Sixers have Fultz, Simmons and Embiid

I don't know any respectable 76ers fan who would ever wish good fortune on the Celtics or Knicks!

I don't know any respectable 76ers fan who would ever wish good fortune on the Celtics or Knicks! yeah - im in the minority here. it's why i love the cowboys being good with Zeke and Prescott - it makes the rivalry that much more fun. that 30 For 30 piece ESPN just put out on the Lakers Vs. Celtics rivalry was tremendous. philly played a role. was nice to watch. know why it was great? they were both powerhouses that despised each other.

I like Smith but he seems to have attitude issues. he's got the talent. thank you. i don't care about the kid's attitude. it's new york. go in there with a chip on your shoulder. i'm in shock. i'd be furious right now if i was a new york fan. they should have traded Porzingis (love the guy but that's over after all of this drama) for the #3 and a ransom (he would have fit on the Celts). Nab Jackson with #3 and DSJ with #8 .....and you've still got assets from the Celts.
