Raab from Cali really fell - months ago he was supposed to be lottery.... I think you know the story of how I became a Sixers fan, but with the Wolves making these big moves I wonder if some day my loyalty will be divided. With the talented young core these two teams have it is possible we could see them playing each other for the championship in the future.

Back in the late 70's early 80's when I was playing high school basketball I watched the NBA all the time. Loved watching and learning from those guys. With no team close I watched Dr J and just was beside myself with awe. I was an immediate Sixers fan and have been ever since.
Dr J is still my favorite player of all-time.

Well I can't say I'm technically disappointed in the Knicks not getting any NBA-ready players, because the team will always suck with Jackson and Dolan in charge.
My favorite player is Chris Paul. I've been a Knicks fan all my life. Does that mean I want CP3 on the Knicks? Fuck no. He'd be destroyed by that dysfunctional joke of a franchise and find himself playing in China.

I think the Celtics are going to draft Tatum. If they keep the pick, I'd much rather have Jackson. Tatum is a better fit, but Jackson has far more upside. I've always believed that you take the best player available. Drafting based on a team's needs is how you end up with Bowie over Jordan. Very curious to see if there's a blockbuster trade - i.e. if they go after Butler or Porzingis This sounds short sighted and ignorant and I'll sound like I'm generalizing - but for some reason I'm turned off by Duke players - maybe I'm just jaded from Okafor. Tatum seems like a 'nice' player but I don't see 'Star'. Think the Celts need a 'Star' - they've already got Crowder and Brown at the '3'. Package some of those assets and go grab Porzingis. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the pick. Going from a player with Harden-like potential to a guy who could be a "solid" player in the NBA is a tough pill to swallow. To make matters worse, Ainge may have helped our division rival create a super team. But I'll admit I've been wrong before. I thought Kris Dunn was the BPA at #3 and he had a terrible rookie year considering his age. The funny thing is Dunn/#3 was supposed to be the centerpiece in a deal involving Butler last year. Now he's just a throw-in. Ainge could have easily acquired Butler, but he values his stockpile of "assets" for some reason. I'm convinced he's a compulsive gambler and gets a thrill out of seeing where these picks land. There are way too many variables with that Lakers/Kings pick. As for Porzingis, I don't think the Knicks were really considering trading him.

I will say drafting a SF at #3 doesn't make a ton of sense when you drafted a SF at #3 the previous year, you have Crowder under contract another 3 years and you're making a run at Hayward (also a SF) this summer. There's plenty of versatility on this roster. Assuming they land Hayward, he could play the 2 if you wanted to go big. You can probably run Tatum at the 2, Brown can defend anyone but I don't see him scoring like a 2. You might be onto something with your gambling theory.

thank you. i don't care about the kid's attitude. it's new york. go in there with a chip on your shoulder. i'm in shock. i'd be furious right now if i was a new york fan. they should have traded Porzingis (love the guy but that's over after all of this drama) for the #3 and a ransom (he would have fit on the Celts). Nab Jackson with #3 and DSJ with #8 .....and you've still got assets from the Celts. Jackson pissed off Ainge. www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/19713510/danny-ainge-boston-celtics-vents-josh-jackson-canceled-workout
