Orphan (2009) 7.0/10As a huge fan of psychological thrillers, Orphan is one of the best films I have ever seen. I just love this movie for many reasons. Brilliant plot twist! What about you? And why you love it so much?

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer 7.5/10 This is a dark film focused on what obsession and loneliness can do to a brittle mind. I wonder how Ben Whishaw managed to pull off an innocent character who slowly transitions into a ruthless murderer.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991)
Absurdly uneven in tone but still extremely entertaining swashbuckler. Kevin Costner is bland as the hero but he's balanced out by a good supporting cast which includes Alan Rickman's greatest performance ever.
The score by Michael Kamen is one of his best.

I don't know if it would be top 10 or 25 or...
But The January Man (1989) [5.6] ...for scenery chewing [NSFW: language]
...cute couple Kevin Kline and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio
...and Alan Rickman, always watchable, even with little to do

Probably the 13th Warrior. It's a 33% on RT and a 6.6 on Imdb.
I can do an official check of my current top 10 later. It I'd be surprised if any of the others were lower than this one critically.

Nice surprise for once.

I don't have a definitive top 10, but of the movies fighting to get in, Scream is the lowest rated with a 7.2.

There is only ten movies i gave a 10/10 to in general and based on IMDb the one with the lowest average rating is... Open Range (2003) - 7.5/10 average with 56,662 votes.p.s. the only others NOT in the Top 250 amongst my 10/10 level movies are... Lord of War (2005)/Road to Perdition (2002)/Training Day (2001). proleloli used to think Orphan (2009) was a solid movie (i gave it a 7.5-8/10 at one point) but it no longer holds up for me (i.e. 5/10(Thumbs Down)). it's a shame though as Vera Farmiga is in it who is THE most attractive famous person ever. speaking of Vera... i am not aware of another actress who's got a better overall set of Top 5 movies than she does (i.e. Source Code/Up in the Air/Running Scared/At Middleton/The Departed). basically when it was solid for me it was mostly carried by Vera Farmiga/Isabelle Fuhrman.

Of the 20 in my un-ordered favorite films list on IMDb, which I haven't really updated or looked at in a while, the lowest rated is Goodbye Dragon Inn with a 7.1
I love it because it's so simple, pure and minimal, with barely any dialogue, cutting or plot.

Blade Runner (8.2 rating on IMDB). I suppose it is a movie people either love or don't. My top 10 are relatively mainstream, my top 30 and beyond is all over the place.
