it's not one my favourites, but my sons liked it when they were young. it's a kiddy film, but not one i personally found that appealing. like most Disney films,t he sentimentality is laid on too thick. Fish do not have families, they just fertilise the eggs and swim away.

It's not the worst film ever created in the history of mankind. I enjoyed it.

It's a good family film.
The principle leads have satisfying arcs. Nemo learns to be independent and assertive, his dad learns to trust in him and gets over his fears of losing him like his wife. Very standard coming-of-age stuff, but always welcome in a film aimed at children. It's funny in places and always pleasing to look at.
It doesn't have the depth (ha, pun) of something like Inside Out or even Toy Story but I think it's worth a watch.

I liked it on my first viewing, but it hasn't really gotten any better. Just worse. It's always entertaining, though, and better than the newest crop of Pixar movies (aside from Inside Out).
