I don't know. Both have a lot of good songs. I might give Joel some credit for being a talented songwriter and musician in addition to being a vocalist.

I'd rather be drawn and quartered than listen to anything by Billy Joel. But I might concede that he is a competent song writer and makes nice pop fodder for the masses.
But to compare him to a true innovator like Presley is not only ridiculous, it borders on blasphemy.
