...well, here's a list of things I made IMDb pages for during the last few weeks.
This included eight films (mostly shorts), fifteen TV series, three TV movies, and three TV specials. I also made pages for various TV episodes, but can't be bothered to include them on the below list.
Yes, I admit most of these things are highly trivial.
Here is the list of the things I made pages for, and yes, I can't be bothered to include the aspect ratio on the pages:
Dateline Britain (1959) - A British documentary TV series produced for broadcast in Canada, and featuring Bernard Braden. This survives, but only a single episode is available for viewing.
Royal Visit Tasmania (1954) - Australian documentary film about the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Tasmania. Filmed on Kodachrome, and can be viewed on YouTube.
Gippsland's Path of Time (1962-1963) - Australian TV series about the history of the Gippsland area, and only shown in that area. Almost certainly a lost series.
Official Opening (1961) - Official opening of TV station GLV-10 in Gippsland. Featured popular Australian TV stars Happy Hammond and Bobby Limb. Likely lost.
Casual Club (1962-1963) - A music show for teenagers. This was a "local show", aired on station GMV-6 in Shepparton, Australia. I doubt any episodes survive.
Spotlight on Australian Ballet (1948) - 48-minute documentary film about, you guessed it, Australian ballet. Shown theatrically as a b-movie. Can be viewed on YouTube.
Football for the Ladies (1960) - A very short-lived daytime TV show aired only in Melbourne, Australia. Female football fans comment on Saturday's game. Was this the first sports show for women?
Beauty Book (1961-1965) - Another daytime TV series from Melbourne, Australia. Beauty tips. Likely lost.
The Match Game (1969) - Australian version of the popular American game show. I want to make pages for the episodes, but I am getting conflicting info on the celebrity guests.
The Hour of Maximum Danger (1961) - A Melbourne-produced TV documentary about the major news events of 1961. I doubt this survives, but who knows?
Morning Chapel (1948-1955) - Religious series aired in New York City. No episodes survive.
Fun at the Piano (1949) - Piano lessons for the viewer, in this series aired in New York City. No episodes survive.
And the Big Men Fly (1963) - TV movie from Melbourne, Australia. An adaptation of a hit stage play. Does this survive?
Short Commons (1948) - British TV talk show about post-war austerity. Lost, as the BBC rarely recorded live shows prior to 1953.
La serva padrona (1962) - Australian TV movie. Well, actually a kinescoped opera. Information is very sketchy. But it did receive a positive review. Does this survive?
The Secret of Susanna (1961) - Australian TV movie. Well, actually a kinescoped opera. Negative response by critics. Does this survive?
The Kings Court (1949-1950) - A game show aired in New Jersey by a station whose signal could be seen in New York City. Yes, the title was spelled "Kings", not "King's". Kings was a supermarket chain. Lost!
Watch and Pray (1957-1959) - Religious show aired in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. Many episodes were kinescoped, but I doubt these kinescopes survive.
Let's Cook (1959-1964) - Cooking show aired in Sydney, Australia. No idea on whether any episodes survive.
Bypass to Life (1961) - TV documentary aired in Melbourne, Australia, about a child who has a heart operation. In fact, this program DOES still exist, but hasn't been digitised yet.
These Sharks Need Protection (1956) - Educational short film from Australia about shark fishing. Can be viewed on YouTube.
The Konrads Swim Champions (1959) - Oddly worded title, yes. Australian documentary film about two swimmers. Won an award at an Italian film festival. Can be viewed on YouTube.
About Horses (1950) - An Australian documentary film about horses and the work they do. Can be viewed on YouTube.
Night Shift (1961) - Australian TV documentary series about workers on the night shift. No idea on whether any episodes survive.
Clubhouse Interviews (1951-1953) - New York City show featuring interviews with baseball players. This series is lost.
Hollywood Spotlight Revue (1951) - Very short lived music TV series aired in Chicago. It featured the infamous Snader Telescriptions (a sort of proto-music video). Series is lost. But the Telescriptions survive.
The City of Launceston (1957) - Educational short film about the Tasmanian city. Filmed on Kodachrome! It's on YouTube.
The Country School Teacher (1953) - Australian educational short film about a teacher in a rural area. It's on YouTube.
Taxi (1972) - Australian documentary short film about a taxi driver. Can be viewed on YouTube.
