At this point, I think there's every possibility that Pascal was lying through her teeth in order to make the Venom spin-off sound more exciting, and Feige simply didn't want to call her out on it in the middle of an interview. I could be wrong of course, but it's a possibility I think is worth considering.

I could be wrong of course, but it's a possibility I think is worth considering. I think there is every possibility that they're working on a closer relationship and there's simply no reason for Feige to comply endorse it until it works out. |
