The Rolling Stones--just nothing special.
Rod Stewart--instantly forgettable.
Barbra Streisand--I never understood the worship for this woman. She over-vocalizes every song she sings, until the words become meaningless at the expense of her mewling. Not only does she spoil every great standard that she performs, but as for one of her signature songs, "Evergreen"--not only is her voice irritating, but try listening to the lyrics; they're nonsensical. The whole thing sounds like an ad for a feminine hygiene product.
Madonna--to be fair, I always turn off her songs after the first few bars, since I find them unlistenable, so I haven't heard most of them all the way through. As many critics used to say back in the '80s, "she really knows how to market herself" (code for "How does someone this untalented manage to be so successful?") She's a lousy actress, too.
